Is it better to connect to a Wi-Fi signal or wireless mobile signal on my Go 2?

Go 2 is designed to be flexible. For example, you can use your Wi-Fi with cellular mode as a backup, so you’re always protected even if the Wi-Fi goes out. Or you can take your Go 2 to a remote location with no Wi-Fi and use LTE mode by itself.

Do I need a SIM card for Arlo Go 2 mobile coverage?

Yes. Your Arlo Go 2 camera requires an activated SIM card with a mobile data plan to access the mobile network. For help with your mobile service plan, contact the carrier of the SIM card that was provided. If no SIM card was included, visit your local wireless carrier to activate a service plan and receive a SIM card.
